Worker’s compensation is something that all employees deserve. It is mandatory in most cities and the law has provisions about it—as to how much should be given, as to what extent should be provided for, and as to the type of injuries it should cover. However, several countries have different jurisdiction on how to implement worker’s compensation laws. Some are quite lenient about it—by giving the government the sole responsibility for everything, while others even have it privatized—by allowing insurance companies take over. The choice, again, lies on the country, the people most especially the employers. The employers are most of the time given the choice while others have been pre-assigned with what they should provide for their employees. Whatever the situation is, the choice primarily lies to you—because you are involved in it.
